Premier Foods’ Foodservice Customer Controller, Mark Taylor triumphs at NACC National Awards
Mark Taylor, Foodservice Customer Controller at Premier Foods has won the Pam Rhodes Outstanding Achievement Award at the NACC National Awards. The NACC National Awards are a real cause for celebration in the industry and recognise those who continually demonstrate excellence, dedication and innovation.
The Pam Rhodes Outstanding Achievement Award is presented to a member of the industry in recognition of their outstanding commitment and contribution to both the NACC and care catering, demonstrating exceptional standards of care, compassion and professionalism.
Mark was awarded the accolade for his true commitment to care catering, having worked in the industry for over 30 years; he has been consistently involved with the NACC at both a national and regional level since 2012. He has gained the respect and admiration of colleagues and the wider industry and has been involved in the launch and development of the Level 2 Specialist Award for chefs in health and social care. Mark has also been actively leading a number of Premier Foods initiatives within care catering, including the latest addition to its ground-breaking healthcare solutions programme: The International Dysphagia Diet Standards Initiative guide and training.

I was totally shocked and speechless – which I know is rare for me, but the award means an incredible amount. Myself and the team at Premier Foods are dedicated to continuing our pioneering work in the industry and this award will give us even more motivation to do so to ensure that elderly and vulnerable people are given the highest possible catering available.”
