Premier Foodservice launches McDougalls Young Baking Team of the Year Recipe Booklet

We are delighted to launch the McDougalls Young Baking Team of the Year Recipe Booklet, showcasing the creative and innovative recipes that were developed by the five shortlisted teams, which took them to the live final at LACA – The Main Event in July 2015.

Our inaugural McDougalls Young Baking Team of the Year competition kicked off in January 2015 to celebrate McDougalls’ 150th birthday and was specifically aimed at children and school caterers. The competition challenged school caterers across the country to put together a team of up to three 7 to 11 year olds and lead them to victory by developing one sweet and one savoury recipe to fit with the ‘birthday party’ theme.

Sarah Robb, Channel Marketing Manager at Premier Foods, commented: “Following such an exciting competition we have created the guide to highlight the talent of the five finalist schools. All of the judges were extremely impressed with the level of effort each team had gone to in their preparation for the live final and it was a very tough decision for them to pick a winner.”
